What is PR?

Another significant document is The Scope of PR, which sets out what PR involves in a way that identifies additional areas where XPRL may benefit processes. For a pdf copy click here.

What is XPRL?

XPRL is a computer language that applies background code 'wrapped around' the PR content. It enables electronic exchange of information accurately and efficiently throughout the PR process - from message owner to audience, inception to evaluation, to campaign reporting and control.

XPRL is an XML (eXtensible Mark-up Language) application language that can be used by modern Internet browsers and application software to apply context to information, allowing easy data exchange between disparate systems.
