Standards for Media Relations

Media relations is an important part of most public relations programmes.

The Inter-related Process Standards

Document Release  Defines document source and characteristics, identifies distribution list and issues document. Document may take any form, but a press release is the most likely
Clippings brief  Identifies characteristics of coverage to be clipped - applies to print and all other media.
Coverage report  Defines the form of information feedback about coverage achieved in relation to news released.
